This island of mockery
Laughs at me
Smiling from face to face
Telling me that life is such a joke if it's not to be taken seriously
Life down the gutter
Hang yourself by a rope
Turn your soul in while you're at it
Simple equations but where would you fit?
Gunshot wound
Pedestrian over run
Baby's dead
A second lightening at the same place, is second to none
I'm tired of hearing pledges
I'm tired of hearing your sorries
The thing with this life
Is the mockery
Mockery stands out
Like a giant with two large hands trying to stop you from getting to three doors
Two of them are blocked and the third has a lion behind it that roars
Life's mockery is such a crying shame
People think it's such a game
Hearts are killed
Souls vanquished
And nothing left but pure pain
If I smile now my face would crack because of my acid tears
Love is nothing but a word to the fools who don't cherish their years
And in time, I could end up like some of them
What's more frightening is that it is more likely to happen
By that time; what would I do then?
This island of mockery
Laughs at me
Smiling from face to face
Telling me that life is such a joke if it's not to be taken seriously
